Blue wheelie bins have become a common sight around the country, as more and more local authorities add them to their range of domestic recycling bins.
Our blue 80-litre wheelie bins are a great way to do this, as they are big enough for about 40kg of waste, which is a little more than one full refuse sack.
This is perfect for occasional waste streams such as paper and packaging waste, which might not need very large capacity on a weekly basis.
Our blue 80l wheelie bin is manufactured in Germany from fade-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) so it can be left outside in sunlight without suffering UV damage over the short term. It also complies with all UK Council regulations.

The HDPE is durable in high temperatures and frosty conditions alike, and will also withstand contact with chemicals well.
The rain-proof lid helps to keep water from coming into contact with the contents of the bin during outdoor use.
If you prefer to keep your blue 80l bin under cover, it's easy to move.
The lid includes a horizontal pull handle, while the base of the bin includes two sturdy rubber wheels on a rust-proof metal axle.
Just push your toes against the central footstep and pivot the bin on to its wheels, and away you go. At a maximum width of 449mm, there shouldn't be an issue getting it through gates and doorways to sheltered areas whenever you want.
